Timothy Sexton

Timothy Sexton works as a freelance composer, conductor, arranger, singer, writer and adjudicator and over the last twenty years has become one of the most prominent musicians in South Australia. Timothy has composed more than 200 works, mostly for the theatre, including operas and musicals. He has worked with many of SA's performing arts companies including the State Theatre, Jumbuck Theatre Company, Junction Theatre Company, Patch Theatre and Windmill Performing Arts and currently has two productions for children touring nationally with Opera Australia. His arrangements and compositions now feature on 17 commercial CD's.

Carolyn Lam
Concertmaster and AdAO Vice President

Carolyn Lam is both a concert violinist and a concert pianist.  She gained first class Honours in violin performance at the Elder Conservatorium, University of Adelaide in 1995.  Since the age of 8, she has won many AMEB, Eisteddfod and Elder Conservatorium prizes and scholarships. Carolyn gives numerous public performances on both instruments and has performed in Australia, Europe and Asia as either chorister, instrumental soloist or orchestral musician.

Geoff Bradley
Principal Trumpet and AdAO Committee Member

Geoff began playing trumpet at school in Victor Harbor, South Australia and went on to receive an Honours degree from the Elder Conservatorium, University of Adelaide.  Since completing his tertiary studies, Geoff has worked with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, toured as principal trumpet with the Australian Youth Orchestra, performed in professional musicals such as Phantom of the Opera, The Sound of Music and South Pacific, as well as performing in the Adelaide Cabaret Festival supporting international guest artists.  During this time he has worked with artists ranging from Luciano Pavarotti, INXS, Rhonda Burchmore and Olivia Newton-John to Maltby and Shire, Jason Robert Brown and Tim Rice.  He is currently working as a freelance performer in styles ranging from classical brass quintet and work with the Adelaide Art Orchestra to big band and Elvis.

Meredith Boyle
Principal Horn

Meredith began playing the French Horn at age 13 and studied at the Flinders Street School of Music with Nelson Green and Howard Parkinson.  She worked as a freelance musician with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra and a number of professional music productions for some years before joining the Band of the South Australia Police in 1993.  On moving to WA in 1998, she worked with WASO and the Australian Army Band, Perth.  Since returning to SA in 2001, she has worked regularly with the ASO and the AdAO.
